Mama is a graphic design project that pays tribute to my grandmother and her youth in Vietnam during the 1960s. The brand identity for this cafe is inspired by Vietnamese coffee culture and the addition of a tropical feel through the use of plants. The colors are bold and vibrant, representing a modern take on vintage nostalgia. Mama is a cafe that brings together the traditional flavors of Vietnamese coffee with a contemporary aesthetic that is both welcoming and vibrant. Through its unique brand identity, Mama tells the story of a time-honored tradition passed down through generations while adding a touch of modern flair.
